voiVision Outreach International with the help from SEE international offers a Manual Sutureless Incision Cataract Surgery course hosted by Dr. Diego Mejia and his staff in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  This course allows the busy Board Certified Ophthalmologist a chance to either learn or brush up on their technique over an extended weeked.  The plan is to arrive Thursday evening and leave on Sunday afternoon after post-ops.  This will give the ophthalmologist 2 full days of cases and practice under the guidance of an expert in the technique.

The training sessions includes:

Daily lessons, PowerPoint presentations, and dedicated time individually for addressing specific issued concerned to your requests.
Two daily surgical sessions video recorded for you to watch and discuss with your trainer.
Up to fifteen surgeries with on-site coaching in OR, video recorded for final discussion.

At the end of the course you shall be able to:

Perform independently sutureless cataract surgeries.
Have skills to manage the possible complications of your new technique.
Develop cost effective surgery
Able to do Surgery under non-ideal conditions
